Help - My identity has been stolen !

Updated: May 9, 2019

The researchers at Netlab 360 have uncovered a large card skimming scan that involves 105 websites. These sites are actively stealing credit card details and security codes.

The domain responsible is magneto-analytics[.]com it is not linked to the legitimate domain of Magneto services. Magneto-analytics[.]com tried to disguise its trail by hosting in Panama then moving to the USA, Russia and finally to Hong Kong.

The victims are eCommerce websites that sell goods and services such as designer bags, bicycles electronics and wine. According to Netlab 360 the domain name was used to inject malicious JS Scripts to online sites to collect the credit card information. The information was then sent back to the magneto-analytics[.]com domain.

If you have had your identity stolen take out a credit report on yourself to track any credit activity being applied to your name. Consider freezing your credit availability also to prevent unauthorised loans, credit facilities etc being taken out in your name. You can also add a note to your credit report for all lenders of credit to see. Credit freezing can also be unblocked by you when you need to do it.
